A non-profit charity organization that focuses on working for the betterment of the society. An organization that strongly believes in being grateful and working unitedly; to contribute to the development of our community through our projects
Kritoggo Foundation is a non-profit charity organization that focuses on increasing IT literacy and overall development of the society. We strive to contribute to the development of our community through our projects.
We are passionate about working to ease issues such as poverty, natural disasters, and climate which has had catastrophic effects and has been pulling us back as a society. We have been working with communities affected by these issues by sponsoring groceries, fixing houses, and building water plants and purifiers in rural areas. We do it because we are grateful and wish to give back to people what we have been blessed with.
The organization began its journey in October 2020 with smaller campaigns, and is now working towards contributing to the SDG Goals, with niche being increasing IT literacy amongst underprivileged students (SDG 4 & 8) through a 6 month development course followed by internships and Freelancing.
As we grow further, and focus on our long term goal of making our beneficiaries not be donation dependent, we are starting a foundation course for children in school who are finding it hard to keep up with the digitalisation and want to develop a career in IT. The course is based on IT and aligns with SDG 4 and 8 (Quality Education/Decent work and Economic growth).
Covid-19 pandemic has caused huge destruction in lives causing an increase in poverty by 42% (and this may well increase in the future) in Bangladesh due to the loss of occupations.
In 2022, after almost 2 years of running Kritoggo, we wanted to design campaigns that align more with SDG goals and have an overall larger impact. We came up with Project Prochesta.
Project Neer was created when we found out about the water crisis during one of our field visits in Nabiganj. While most of us hardly have to worry about the shortage of water or about its purity.
