Project Procheshta
In 2022, after almost 2 years of running Kritoggo, we wanted to design campaigns that align more with SDG goals and have an overall larger impact. We came up with Project Prochesta.
Prochesta was designed with the idea that if we help one person/family, we will ensure they reach a point where they won’t remain donation dependent. The primary target audience for Prochesta are those who have been a victim of abuse, natural calamity, and anyone from the marginalized community in need.
The project is executed in three steps:
Phase 1: We aim to make essentials like food, water and medicine available by providing the people in need with grocery bags.
Phase 2: As the conditions improve, we plan on developing sustainable living standards by providing monetary aids, building materials and further rebuilding damaged houses. We aim to extend our help in any form necessary.
Phase 3: Finally, we aim to create a stable source of income for the sufferers. This will help them become self-sufficient. We are determined to support them either by setting a tea stall or buying a sewing machine.
